Lindsey Caldwell is originally from Birmingham, Alabama but has resided in Atlanta since 2005. She graduated from Auburn University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Business Administration. While at Auburn, she served as a Program Facilitator for the Promoting Alabama Youth Development Initiative which helps strengthens adolescents’ capacity to make good life choices. She also volunteered at the East Alabama Adult Day Center and acted as a hostess for the Auburn University swim team.
Recently, Ms. Caldwell completed a ten month term of service with the Hands On Atlanta AmeriCorps School Based Program. Completing over 1700 hours, she served as the Atlanta Partner For Education/ Signature Program Coordinator at Heritage Academy Elementary School. In this position, she acted as the liaison with the school’s corporate partners, managing their involvement in Junior Achievement as well as the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Mentoring Program throughout the year and measuring the impact of their involvement on student achievement. In addition, she co-created and coordinated the Voices In Bettering Education Benefit Performance, which helped to raise funding to award a graduating high school senior with a scholarship.
