Susan Mason is an Associate Consultant with O’Neill & Associates. She has extensive experience with nonprofits, and over twenty years of writing and editing experience. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Wake Forest University, where she earned a degree in Anthropology. She has a Masters in Archeology from the University of South Florida, and a Masters in Risk Management from Georgia State University.
Ms. Mason’s experience spans the academic, corporate, governmental and nonprofit sectors. She has worked for the National Park Service and the Life Office Management Association. The author of three books, she has also written over 100 magazine articles, served as the scriptwriter for three television series, edited an award-winning magazine, written curriculum materials for college textbooks, developed test questions for college entrance examinations, and developed web site content.
Ms. Mason is the former Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Buckhead Christian Ministry, and has held volunteer positions with numerous organizations including the Junior League of Atlanta and the Southeastern Flower Show. A former emergency room volunteer at Grady Hospital, Ms. Mason currently volunteers with the Center for the Visually Impaired. She is a member of The Cathedral of St. Philip, and lives in Atlanta with her husband, Gardiner.
