Bonnie O’Neill’s
humanitarian passion has led her to some
remarkable places. On a recent trip to India,
she traveled to Dharamsala for a private
audience with His Highness the XIV Dalai
Lama. His title means “Ocean of Wisdom,” very
fitting for this kind and gentle man, spiritual
leader to millions of exiled Tibetans and
winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. |
At the end of Bonnie’s session with the Dalai Lama, she asked what was
needed most in the world today. His answer came quickly. “Compassion,” he
said, “the world needs more compassion.” Bonnie was, and continues
to be, personally and professionally inspired by the words of this revered figure. |
